I’m a reporter and a news editor, with experience covering Latin America affairs, US politics and, more recently, Florida's shenanigans. A native Spanish speaker, I am fluent in English and Italian with an intermediate level of Portuguese. I am also the author of a best-selling book of essays, Lamentablemente estamos bien (Uruguay, 2008), published after my first years in journalism as a humor columnist.
